ジョージア州アトランタ生まれ。
1967年、South Campからレコードデビューしローカルレーベルでダン・ペンの「Rainbow Road」をヒットさせ注目を集めるようになった。
その後、Sam DeesのレーベルMoonsong / Piedmontと契約を結び、彼はライターとして活動し「Stop This Merry Go Round」(ジョン・エドワーズ)をはじめ「I'm A Believer Now」や「Tag, Tag」を発表している。
今晩は自作のＣＤです。
いろいろ寄せ集めて作りましたが残念ながら、全曲カバーはできませんでした。
